Perches eat small fish for food, so we recommend to use 4-10 cm lures, jigs and ice fishing lures for perch. We recommend using 0.20 mm monofilament line for ice fishing perch. For summer perch fishing, we recommend using a soft/light spinning rod, so that the sensitive-mouthed perches won't escape during the fishing. In the summer fishing we use 0.10 - 0.14 mm durable Spintube braided lines, so that the small lures fly further.
